BRAND IDENTITY / CULTURAL BRANDING
A brand identity developed for the historic Crane Mansion at Castle Hill in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Inspired by the estate’s coastal landscape, architectural character, and expansive views, the system used typography, spacing, and color to create a distinctive sense of place.
Brand Identity
The flexible wordmark system adapts across horizontal, stacked, and compact configurations. Refined spacing and optical adjustments maintain clarity and balance across formats while preserving a consistent brand identity.
Typography
Transat, a geometric sans serif inspired by 1930s Art Deco signage, connects the estate’s historical context with a refined, contemporary tone.
Coastal Color Palette
Brand in Use
The brand identity extends across print, event materials, apparel, and merchandise. The flexible wordmark, typography, and coastal color palette adapt to each format while maintaining a consistent connection to the Crane Mansion identity.
